The brief we were given was to compose a piece of music for two people: a woodwind player, who would play either an oboe, oboe d’amore or cor anglais; and a percussionist, who would have available a vibraphone, cymbal and bongoes. I chose to create a lyrical piece of music using the cor anglais, vibraphone and cymbal only, the result of which you can hear here.

The suite isn’t anything fantastic, as the pieces were more a result of a kind of emotional output than anything with a particularly artistic grounding, however I thought I’d upload them anyway. The recordings haven’t appeared on Last.fm yet, but in the meantime, here’re the scores:
